Everyone, Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask this question, but would sure appreciate some direction if this list is the wrong place. Looks like Fedora 5 and 6 have gmime-2.1.19 as part of the distribution, but it is not present within CentOS 5 or with the extra repositories I would like to use some of the tools in this package to decode some mime e-mail attachments on a CentOS 5 system. At the current time, we do not recommend attempting to build Asterisk on CentOS 8. Many packages Asterisk uses are not yet available and would require building from their sources. I can't seem to get a way to install Pan in CentOS, and I need it badly. I follow most busy lists, including this one, on Gmane using Pan (and, no, Gmane per Web is no use to me. I have some obscure allergy to webmail). Does anyone know an rpm (one of Fedora's, for instance) that I can install and not immerse myself in dependency hell?
