Email Alerts for Multiple UPSs with upssched
Ah! So I can detect the source UPS in the upssched.conf and pass it as a distinct event to the shell script. That sounds like an excellent approach. Thanks! [LLVMdev] Books/docs on exception handling
Hi Trevor, DWARF exception handling is an amalgam of several different documents and code tables, which all conspire to give us exception handling. :-) The documents you should read are: * Exception Handling Tables (http://www.codesourcery.com/public/cxx-abi/exceptions.pdf) This explains in detail what the table in the "__TEXT,__gcc_except_tab" section is all about. * DWARF

Email Alerts for Multiple UPSs with upssched
...body of the message. Voila! $UPSNAME and $NOTIFYTYPE were there and available. I modified the script to pump THOSE into the mail command, and the problem is (at least partially) solved. The next challenge is going to be sorting out which UPS is being seen on which USB port. Thanks everyone!! Email Alerts for Multiple UPSs with upssched
Greetings Gentlebeings, I have started deploying a number of NUT instances on Raspberry Pi machines (Raspbian Jessie) across my network. The purpose of these "nutcases" as we refer to them is to monitor the status of the UPSs supporting our network switching infrastructure and notify us of power and battery events via email. No shutdown or other actions are required. Everything is

[LLVMdev] Books/docs on exception handling
Hi, I'm trying to learn all that I can about exception handling from the compiler's point of view. Although much has been written about compiler theory in general -- parsing, code generation, you name it -- I can find almost nothing on the specific problem of exception handling support. In fact, the most informative document I've been able to find so far is "Bill's

NUT - General Concept Question
I've been looking over the documentation and several installation guides for NUT, and I'm starting to get a little bit of a feel for what it is. But I'm still not clear whether what I'd *like* to accomplish is actually practical using NUT. Perhaps someone here can tell me if they've done something similar, or if I'm way off base. I would like to set up a Linux host as a
