Hi!. I recently buy a new notebook, and install CentOS 4.3 on it. This because I'm in charge of a lot a servers with Centos installed, and want to use only one distro in all my machines. And, because of course I really like Centos for desktop too. :) The notebook comes with Intel GMA 950 video graphics. ...nybody know if I have to set special settings in wine to play 3D games or older games like ANNO 1503? Especially Anno 1503 can be started but if the details are set to "high" it works very slow. Or could it be that this GPU "Integrated Intel? Graphics Media Accelerator X3000 (Intel? GMA X3000)" is too weak for this game? regards hereiam

Hi all I've been having problems getting a particular game to work properly in Wine under OS X, and have been working on the assumption that it's a software problem with Wine. However, some testing I have done today is making me think it's a problem elsewhere, possibly something to do with graphics drivers. The GMA X3100 is not compatible with wine at the moment (i think). It has had issues with everything I have tried to run. I have tried wine with both linux and OSx. And most app's will complain.

I tried to run ePSXe 1.7 with wine, everything worked fine but after about a minute the entire computer would freeze. I have a ThinkPad T400 with integrated graphics (Graphics = Intel GMA X4500) with Fedora 11 64bits installed. Everything works fine, I have been on linux for more than a year and it's the first time I see a kernel failure.
