Gluster 3.2 configurations + translators
...es, but usually there is a warning that it is old and should be not used. Right now im solving how to turn on io-cache and i find in some documentation that it need to be turned on on server and client end as well. On server i did use gluster volume set atlas performance.io-cache on but on client gluser command die on timeout or error that glusterd not working. So question is how to configure correctly client end on gluster ? There is very little about this on gluster 3.2 documentation and i don't know how much from 3.1 can be used here. And is there any translator documentation for gluster...

I also hope by 'unix local user' that you mean an AD user that has bec...

Slow write times to gluster disk
Hi, We noticed a dramatic slowness when writing to a gluster disk when compared to writing to an NFS disk. Specifically when using dd (data duplicator) to write a 4.3 GB file of zeros: * on NFS disk (/home): 9.5 Gb/s * on gluster disk (/gdata): 508 Mb/s The gluser disk is 2 bricks joined together, no replication or anything else. The hardware is (literally) the same: * one server with 70 hard disks and a hardware RAID card. * 4 disks in a RAID-6 group (the NFS disk) * 32 disks in a RAID-6 group (the max allowed by the card, /mnt/brick1) * 32 disks...

After gluster clean up sub directories becomes invisible
...service 7. # systemctl start glusterd.service Steps for gluster configurations 1. sudo ./confGfs.sh -s -c -P <charging_ip> This step adds the entry in the fstab and mount the same. There are multiple directories under /export/home/ecmsftp which becomes invisible after gluser clean up and gluster configuration.
