Coordinate systems on on nv10-era cards
Hello, I'm trying to debug why fbo-copyteximage-simple is failing, and I'm... failing. It's an extremely simple test. I'm pretty sure that the copyteximage part of it has nothing to do with the failure, at least it behaves identically when I just return tex instead of copiex_tex. Without any modifications, the test just renders one big red square. I think there's something

Coordinate systems on on nv10-era cards
So I did a lot more debugging on this. I wrote a program that draws a triangle to an fbo, and then blits that to fb 0. If I draw the triangle with glBegin(GL_TRIANGLES); glColor3f(1, 0, 0); glVertex3f(-0.6*128 + 128, -0.75*128 + 128, 0.5); glColor3f(0, 1, 0); glVertex3f(0.6*128 + 128, -0.75*128 + 128, 0); glColor3f(0, 0, 1); glVertex3f(128, 0.75*128 + 128, 0); glEnd(); Then all is well. However if I do: float verts[3][6] = { { -0.6*128 + 128, -0.75*128 + 12...

Graphical text error in game (MI5)
Hi, have recently bought MI5 (Tales of Monkey Island), and I am currently trying to run it under wine in Ubuntu 9.04 and I am running the latest development version 1.1.25. I am running this over the latest stable version due to less graphical errors when trying to run the game. To get the game running I followed this guide posted on the telltale's ( the creators of the game) forum >

No window decorations for simple glut app on compiz/aiglx?
...piz isn't the WM. Can anyone else confirm they see this too? Any suggestions on how to fix this up? Thanks much, Sean P.S. compiled with -lGL -lglut and using r300 driver. #include <GL/glut.h> void DrawScene(void) { glClearColor(0.5, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0); glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT); glColor3f(0.0, 0.1, 1.0); glutSolidTeapot(0.6); glFlush(); } int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { glutInit(&argc, argv); glutInitDisplayMode(GLUT_SINGLE|GLUT_RGB); glutCreateWindow(argv[0]); glutDisplayFunc(DrawScene); glutMainLoop(); return 0; }

a few questions about OpenGL and nouveau
...s that all "rendering" is done through st_draw_vbo() which would end up calling nv30_draw_vbo() which would send data to the card... but where is the missing link?? The floats (for the vertices and color) are already mapped by ctx->Driver.MapBufferRange...*/ glBegin(GL_LINES); glColor3f(1.0, 1.0, 1.0); glVertex3f(0.0f, 0.0f, 0.0f); glVertex3f(50.0f, 50.0f, 1.0f); glEnd(); } glXSwapBuffers(); } Thanks in advance. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
