array indexing and which
Hi R friends!
I am stuck with a stupid question: I can circumvent it
but I would like to
understand why it is wrong. It would be nice if you
could give me a hint...
I have an 2D array d and do the following:
ids <- which(d[,1]>0)
then I have a vector gk with same column size as d and
do:
ids2 <- which(gk[ids]==1)
but I can't interprete the result I get in ids2.
I get the expected result when I use:
which(gk==1 & d[,1]>0)
Why is the first version wrong?
The reason why I try to use the ids vectors is that I
want to avoid recomputat...

Registering Asterisk to Lucent's MVAM Gatekeeper
Hi there,
I am trying to register asterisk to a Lucent's MVAM GK. It is not
registering to the GK with both h323 channels(chan_h323 and oh323).
The problem is that if I set the GK(in asterisk) through the GK's IP, the GK
answers with GCF without it's GK ID, and after that it does not answer to the
RRQ, because the RRQ message has no GK ID.
And when I...

Getting email from cron when script is run manually
We have some third party software running on a CentOS 4.5 virtual
machine. The software is delivered as compiled python and I wrote an
init script for it myself (/etc/init.d/gk). Because the software lacks
the usual robustness of CentOS services, I have a bash script
(/etc/cron.daily/gk-restart) which simply calls "/etc/init.d/gk
restart". So, as expected, root gets an email every day when cron runs
the script.
Here's the puzzling part: If I need to manuall...

Asterisk + GnuGK :::: Unreachable Destination.
Hello again.
I'm stll struggling trying to terminate calls from SIP through Asterisk
and throught my H323 gateways...
Basically the call is accepted by GnuGK but then dropped with

I did a *debug trc 10* on GnuGK and looked at the sessions... one from
X-Lite through Asterisk... and one from OpenPhone... The one from
OpenPhone works fine.
And i found something on the beginning of the session...

Problems with gnugk, asterisk, and ooh323
Greetings to All,
I hope someone has already gotten this working. I spent all day today trying
to get ooh323 and gnugk to run on the same box. After a lot of tweaking to
get everything compiled, I got both up and running.
I can make calls IAX to H323, but cannot make calls in the reverse
direction. I have tried many different configs on the GK, but always come up
with the same error. It appears to me that asterisk...

have two H323 connection: one with GK, one with other GW. is it possible?
hello all,
i have a conceptual question.
i have a h323 gateway and it is connected to a h323 gatekeeper. my
question is: can i connect my gateway to another gateway directly? i mean
can these two gateways work with each other without working with
gatekeeper? or when i have connection with a gatekeeper, all calls must be
set through it?
thanks in advance,

Join table not being populated
Hello,
I have the usual Categories and Products table scenario, mediated by a
Categories_Products join table. When I create a new Product and into a
given Category, I notice that my join table is not being populated.
Shouldn''t the join Categories_Products table be populated?
Thanks,
