Alternative of Cairo
...R programming. Am generating some visuals by using Cairo library. But Cairo is not compatible with all compilers(Box plot, histogram and RNA degradation plots-I would prefer to use some libraries rather than R native functions). Can anyone suggest an alternative for this library. Thanks in Advance Gireesh

Calculating correlation
Hi guys I have an input file with multiple columns and and rows. Is it possible to calculate correlation of certain value of certain No (For example x of S1 = 112) with all other values (for example start with x 112 corr a 3 of S1 = x-a 0.2 ) INPUT ******* No S1 S2 S3 S4 Sn a 3 4 45 34 23 x 112 0 12 23 0 b 0 1 23 12 1 n 0 1 0 1 1

Heatmap reordering of dendrogram to hierarchical clustering
Dear list members, I have been using R to create a heatmap where my data has continous variables from 0 to 100. When I create the heatmap, although the branches are correct, they do not order themselves so that the row with the most zeros is at one end and the row with the most 100s is at the other, which is what I would like them to do, so as to create a colour gradient down the graphic. I have

(log normal distribution ) giving my own input to X and Y axes.
Can I get the similar kind of graph (log normal distribution )below by giving my own input to X and Y axes. Thanx in advance X-axis: (Just numbers) 1000 2000 3000 4000 5000 Yaxis: (-log10 (Pvalue)) 7.5925 8.5925 12.5925 6.5925 6.5925 # Get a random log-normal distribution r <- rlnorm(1000) # Get the distribution without plotting it using tighter breaks *h <-* hist(r, *plot=F,
