Hello, I've been reading the CentOS's FAQs, and saw this: How long will CentOS-4 updates be supported? We intend to support CentOS-4 updates until Feb 29, 2012. Would someone tell me what will happen after that?

I suspect I cant do this but is there a 32 bit library to load (on a 32 bit machine) that will run 64 bit exe's? My suspition is no. I was hoping though there is a library that emulate anything the 64 bit instructions etc would be doing. Thanks, jerry

As subject says. I just noticed that Anaconda allows x86_64 CD/DVD to be used to install i386 system (using network installation, of course). This is basically broken. For example, yum will believe that it is installed on x86_64, not on i386. So when you do for example yum update, it will try to install x86_64 packages on i386 system.
