an e-mail client for dovecot ?
Hello all, For some years now, I've been using Thunderbird for dovecot. I am not very satisfied with t/b so I thought of using m/s outlook but then I thought that I want to distance my clients from office products. I have a newly created dovecot installation on a very small site. Three nodes, all x86 Windows 7 professional with an ubuntu v14.04 server (x86 again) running dovecot 1.2.17.

I have a workaroud (kind of) in setting my LANG enviroment to C before starting R, but I hope for a better, more portable solution. arima() in for loop
hi all, In a simulation context I'm running in a for loop the arima() function for( i in 1:1000){ y<-arima.sim(....) out<-arima(y,....) ........ } Everything works, but after some cycle (10, say) I get error due to the particular y-values simulated. (E.g., a *frequent* error is "Error in svd(na.omit(xreg)) : 0 extent dimensions") As a

Multiple colors in plots/lookup function
Hello, I'd like to do something like: n<-100 zz<-cbind(rnorm(n),rnorm(n),floor(runif(n)*3+1)) colors<-c("red","green","blue") plot(zz,col=colors(zz[3])) and have a matrix of scatterplots colored by class. The above does not work, of course, but I'm not sure exactly what function I'm looking for. Thank you for your time, Dave, -- Dave

log10(), floor() combo issue?
Hi all, in my search for a nice binary2decimal method, I received this nice code (thanx to Uwe Ligges): bindec <- function(b) sum(as.integer(unlist(strsplit(b, ""))) * 2^(floor(log10(b)):0)) It fails, however, with: > bindec(1000) [1] 4 Warning message: longer object length is not a multiple of shorter object length in: as.integer(unlist(strsplit(b, "")))

unix environment variables under R
hi, i am working on a little R-project with a couple od other guys.we use CVS, but everyone keeps the R-source files in different locations in his home-directory. of course this causes trouble when sourcing R-files. i thought a UNIX environment variable could be the solution, but R doesn't seem to know about the environment variables. e.g. >> source("$PROJECT/xxx.R")

[PATCH 0/6] Quota fixes for 2.6.31-rc4
Hi, I did some more in-depth testing of OCFS2 quota code, especially with ECC feature enabled and spotted some problems. First four patches fix them. I need the fifth patch to be able to mount OCFS2 filesystem with 2.6.31-rc3. The sixth patch fixes a potential problem when quota syncing interval is updated while the cluster is running (which is not possible currently). Joel, could you please

R-1.6.1 is released
I've rolled up R-1.6.1.tgz a short while ago. This is a minor upgrade, fixing an assortment of minor bugs, and one major one: 1.6.0 introduced a memory leak in deparsing, causing much trouble for people running simulations. You can get it from the developer site at http://cvs.r-project.org/pub/CRAN/src/base/R-1.6.1.tgz or wait for it to be mirrored at a CRAN site near you. Binaries for
