My samba shares aren't working with ACL access since the upgrade. It displays the Domain Accounts on my NT4.0 PDC. Hi everyone, I am using package knitr, FIRST TIME. I don't have access to RStudio. Read through Yihui's page, didn't find it helpful. Stuck on terms Rnw, GFM (GitHub Flavored Markdown). Never used Sweave, so the reference is not helping. Is there a simple step-by-step example WITHOUT RStudio? My question: What is the procedure? I'm running FreeBSD 3.0-current and have just upgraded samba to 2.0.0. Previously, I used unencrypted passwords. After upgrading, they didn't work so I changed to use encrypted ones. I can now map my drives from the PC. However, I still have a number of problems that I think are all related. - I can't use swat. The authentication always fails. I get a message on the console

I am trying to install Samba-2.2.3a on HPUX 10.2. I have downloaded the tar file from the web and placed it in my /tmp directory on my Unix server but when I try to install it using SAM I get message saying there is an I/O error on the file. Any suggestions? I am very very new to all this!
