[PATCH 0/5] vringh
This introduces vringh, which are generic accessors for virtio rings (host side). There's a host-side implementation in vhost, but it assumes that the rings are in userspace, and is tied to the vhost implementation. I have patches to adapt it to use vringh, but I'm pushing this in the next merge window for Sjur, who has CAIF patches which need it. This also includes a test program in

Extract named regions from an Excel file using XLConnect?
...e named region to and from Excel. In order to read a named region with the readNamedRegion function you need to know it's name. You can check is a name exists with existsName, but you still have to know the name. Is there a way to actually get a list of the named regions in XLConnect sinilar to getRanges in the xlsx package. On that point: what is the difference between XLConnect and xlsx and when should you use which? regards Christiaan [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

I tried that without any luck: static void handleOBF(Sema &S, Decl *D, const AttributeList &Attr) { D->addAttr(::new (S.Context)NoFLAAttr(Attr.getRange(), S.Context, Attr.getAttributeSpellingListIndex())); // ??????????? llvm::AttrBuilder FuncAttrs; FuncAttrs.addAttribute(); } In CodeGenModule::ConstructAttributeList it uses a AttrBuilder, I tried there to add a random attribute and it works. But I’m not understan...

[LLVMdev] MemoryBuffer
...y based trumps hand-rolled trumps generic in terms of speed for all situations. I write code like that all the time, would be quite simple, would you accept such code? Just from a quick thought the interface would change from using getBufferStart()/getBufferEnd()/getBufferSize() to something like getRange() which returns a random_access_range_type<no_policy>, which would probably have an equivalent use like (using a monotype font to line things up): typedef const char cchar; MemoryBuffer mb; MemoryBuffer::range_type<policy> rt(mb.getRange()); Current MemoryBuffer...
