I'm looking for feedback on this first patch. The node has been pushed towards a more generic boot process. With this patch the node can now boot up and execute a few specifically-named scripts that reside in /etc/node.d/ at key points during the startup. After this goes upstream, the next step will be to define in more detail the remote interfaces for the "managed" runtime

This commit starts to split our massive, monolithic configure.ac file into smaller files, using the m4_include mechanism to combine them. I don't know if we should really do this, so I'm open to comments about it. This version of the patch includes feedback from jboggs at redhat.com, including fixes to the BuildRequires and Requires in the spec file.

This patch obsoletes any previous ones. This is an upstream candidate, so I'm looking for feedback so we can push this and start using it.

This version fixes a few bugs found by jboggs. It also includes some logging facilities that need to be fleshed out more.

Hi! I would like to ask about current state of Windows port. Is it frozen? It will be cool to know the plans :) Where are a lot of Windows-branches at GitHub. What is the most actual one? The Windows builder looks like turned off, am I right that it is not available currently and where were no builds after version 2.6.5-6? I couldn't find any info about proper environment to build Windows

Two (not related to each other) refactorings: Patches 1-12 split configure.ac into smaller files using the m4_include mechanism. Patches 13-15 split out parts of guestfs.pod (ie. guestfs(3)) into three new manual pages: guestfs-hacking(3) - how to extend and contribute to libguestfs guestfs-internals(3) - architecture and internals guestfs-security(3) - security and CVEs Patch 16 is a
