So this patch tries to get page and calculate the offset before processing XDP actions, and undo them when meet errors (we don't care the performance on errors). [PATCH net-next 1/2] vhost_net: mitigate page reference counting during page frag refill
We do a get_page() which involves a atomic operation. This patch tries to mitigate a per packet atomic operation by maintaining a reference bias which is initially USHRT_MAX. Each time a page is got, instead of calling get_page() we decrease the bias and when we find it's time to use a new page we will decrease the bias at one time through __page_cache_drain_cache(). [RFC PATCH v3 0/2] mm: remove extra ZONE_DEVICE struct page refcount
This is still an RFC because after looking at the pmem/dax code some more, I realized that the ZONE_DEVICE struct pages are being inserted into the process' page tables with vmf_insert_mixed() and a zero refcount on the ZONE_DEVICE struct page. This is sort of OK because insert_pfn() increments the reference count on the pgmap which is what prevents memunmap_pages() from freeing the struct

[PATCH] xen/arm: Allow balooning working with 1:1 memory mapping
With the lake of iommu, dom0 must have a 1:1 memory mapping for all these guest physical address. When the ballon decides to give back a page to the kernel, this page must have the same address as previously. Otherwise, we will loose the 1:1 mapping and will break DMA-capable device. [PATCH 13/16] mm: support THP migration to device private memory
Support transparent huge page migration to ZONE_DEVICE private memory. A new flag (MIGRATE_PFN_COMPOUND) is added to the input PFN array to indicate the huge page was fully mapped by the CPU. ZONE_DEVICE struct pages have an extra reference count that complicates the code for put_page() and several places in the kernel that need to check the reference count to see that a page is not being used (gup, compaction, migration, etc.). Clean up the code so the reference count doesn't need to be treated specially for device private pages, leaving DAX as still being a special case.
