LVM Input/output error
Hi,
I recently installed centos for the first time and I like it!
Also, I just started working with lvm. The following warnings
are genertated whenever I run one of lvm commands on the external
usb disk (MyBook by Western Digital).
* What could be the source for those messages?
* Should I worry about them (writing into the created LV's
seems to work)?
* If yes, how to fix them?

[LLVMdev] alpha assembler with llc

Is it a version mismatch between llc assmebly and alpha assembler? How
should i go about debugging this? The errors also persist if i remove step

The difference in error region in llc generated alpha assembly and the
corresponding alpha cross compiler gcc genertated assembly is as follow:
llc generates:
.type fetch_ext_rgba_dxt1, at object # @fetch_ext_rgba_dxt1
.bss
.globl fetch_ext_rgba_dxt1
.align 3
fetch_ext_rgba_dxt1:
.quad 0
.size fetch_ext_rgba_dxt1, 8
alpha-gcc generates:
.zero 8
.globl fetch_ext_rgba_dxt1
.type fetch_ex...

samba-3.0.2a openldap-2.1
Hi!
-I've separated samba-3.0.2a and openldap-2.1 on two computers with Slackware 9.1
-smbldap_populate.pl genertated all standard groups and the Administrator account
-The ldap seams to work now
ldapsearch -H ldap://l1.dbb.su.se/ -b dc=dbb,dc=su,dc=se -x
ldap_bind: Confidentiality required (13)
additional info: TLS confidentiality required
-This is like it should be since the server require TLS
