Re: Virtual Bridge "Network" for Sandbox
Thanks Laine, I will take a look at Open vSwitch, it looks interesting. I am a generalist, I need to know enough about a lot of things to get many different tasks done, but do not have the in depth knowledge required to "patch" anything.  If I manage to wrangle a working solution should I post it? Needless to say I would be supportive of said feature being implemented by...

Virtual Bridge "Network" for Sandbox
Hi all, I couldn't find any documentation on this, hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I recently set up a sand-boxed environment for our developers. There are domain controller(s), workstations and servers in there.  The whole thing is running on a single host using a "Virtual Network" defined in virt-manager on that host. Now I find I want to add more

R code for Frequency and Count Data
...web page www.luc.ac.be/~jlindsey There are over 160 data sets, about one-half of which have the R analysis output (the examples), the rest being for the exercises. Doing this has reinforced my conclusion that R's glm simply does not stack up to GLIM4 for generalised linear models. I guess that generalist software just cannot compete with the specialists. About TheoraSea and ITheora
...enough)) The third step is the hosting, as the model of developpement is a little bit like P2P, it's possible to add different video hosting service on to. It can be some private individuals that use their personnal site or thematic groupe (about free software, cooking, free culture...) or generalist site like blip.tv. I don't do this because I can't (not enough means :) , but I think it's not necessary). The hosting don't implicate that you had to refer on Theorasea (we can use the code engine of ITheora on TS or your own version of ITheora), and user is the only owners of t...

Random resampling of columns in species association matrices
I have a host-parasite association matrix in which parasite species are rows and host species columns and cells contain the frequency of interactions. Some parasites are associated with many hosts, and some hosts harbor several parasites, and I want to repeatedly select only one single representative host per "generalized" (multi-host) parasite to create a new matrix in which no hosts
