samba 3.6 client signing
...ers cant connect to the 3.6 shares with it enabled They can connect to the 4.2.3 shares We have tried server side smb.conf settings but no luck They can only connect when the client registry key is disabled (and this violates a STIG) Anyone seen this? Burning DVD with upgrade of cdrtools for cdrecord

umask and logging in openssh
...sftp users who don't run a shell, and providing ftp level logging functionality typically available in other ftp servers to be important security features that openssh should provide by default. Composite primary key support in ActiveRecord?

Asking hard questions about the NUT architecture
I've spent the better part of two working days reading the NUT code and documentation and thinking about typical modern use cases for the software. I'm now questioning whether I want to get any further involved with this project, because it seems to me that the codebase is a huge and complicated pile of machinery mainly aimed at solving problems that no longer matter.
