...n the update file to update to 4.0.371 -ran the second data files updater -replaced the oleaut32.dll and riched20.dll files (smae results when i did not replace them) with versions from a win xp install i no longer use (dual boot) from command line i cd'd into the gurps directory and ran: wine gca4.exe &> /tmp/log.txt 2>&1 and i still recieved the error as stated above. the result from my log file is below.
