Hello, I have an odd problem on a dual processor, dual core Opteron system. Obviosously it is x86_64 so should have no problem large amounts of RAM. The system has 4 GB installed (2GB on each processor). Hello all! So I just realised that I need wine. I'm sitting on a Debian 3.0 box (which I'm in no way am competent enough to upgrade until a new release from Debian) and want to use wine. Is there any pre-compiled binaries out there or do I have to try to compile it myself, and if I do, do you think that you will be able to help me when I get stuck? Hi all, I'm currently searching for a PCI modem that will be used to receive faxes. I've tried out a few modems but they all use conexant chipsets, which need out-of-tree kernel drivers and currently doesn't work here (kernel oops when the installation script modprobes the driver). Does anyone know of a PCI modem that works out of the box with in-tree kernel drivers? Thanks,

I just discovered that my xen hypervisor only believes that it has 3199 MB of memory, when there are 4GB inside the computer. I don''t know how long this has been this way, but I do not know how to try and force the hypervisor to realize how much memory it has. Any ideas how I can accomplish this? Hi all, On dual core processor machine, I installed ubuntu-8.04 in which I installed xen-3.2. In ubuntu: # cat /proc/cpuinfo --> Shows two processors information. But in Xen on the same machine: # cat /proc/cpuinfo --> Shows only one processor information. Can anyone please explain what could be the reason behind this? Thanks Saravana
