Does anyone know where I might be able to download/purchase a database of US cities and their longitude/latitude coordinates? I''d like to provide a search option on a website that allows users to search by city but include cities in the surrounding area. Diamond graphs
...to +1, and define the height of the bar to be the amount that the bar extends above the horizontal: 0 <= h <= 1. When h = 0, no polygon is shown. When h = 1, the polygon is a square occupying the whole cell. (I don't actually understand this; in the illustration in http://www.jhu.edu/~gazette/2003/18aug03/18graph.html there is _always_ a margin, except when the square is full. It doesn't really spoil my point.) X86_64 and 4GB RAM
Hello, I have an odd problem on a dual processor, dual core Opteron system. Obviosously it is x86_64 so should have no problem large amounts of RAM. The system has 4 GB installed (2GB on each processor). If I boot the system with a fresh install of Debian Etch it sees all the memory fine. dmesg reports: Memory: 4107008k/5242880k available (1929k kernel code, 86836k reserved, 864k data, 176k

Debian 3.0 and wine
Hello all! So I just realised that I need wine. I'm sitting on a Debian 3.0 box (which I'm in no way am competent enough to upgrade until a new release from Debian) and want to use wine. Is there any pre-compiled binaries out there or do I have to try to compile it myself, and if I do, do you think that you will be able to help me when I get stuck? Regards, Tomas ---anarki och k?rlek

PCI modems
Hi all, I'm currently searching for a PCI modem that will be used to receive faxes. I've tried out a few modems but they all use conexant chipsets, which need out-of-tree kernel drivers and currently doesn't work here (kernel oops when the installation script modprobes the driver). Does anyone know of a PCI modem that works out of the box with in-tree kernel drivers? Thanks,

Xen dom0 memory
I just discovered that my xen hypervisor only believes that it has 3199 MB of memory, when there are 4GB inside the computer. I don''t know how long this has been this way, but I do not know how to try and force the hypervisor to realize how much memory it has. Any ideas how I can accomplish this? I am running CentOS 5 (RHEL 5), kernel 2.6.18-53.1.4.el5xen, x86_64, xen 3.0.3.
