help with contrasts.
...ov (model) to get the analysis of
variance, but i know that my treatment could be organized in groups,
so i would like to test these groups.
Example: I have 4 treatments t1, t2, t3, t4 and i would like to test
(1, 1, -1, -1) and (1, -1, 0, 0) and (0, 0, 1, -1).
thanks for the attention.

I know that example, looks like silly but a have bigger data, that this
happens in thirtieth iteration, what's why i would like some help
i used the step(), is there other function that could stop this besides
step()?

I have some problems working with lme function, and i would be glad if
anyone could help me.
this kind of analysis i was used to do with PROC MIXED from SAS, but i would
like to move to R, for many reasons...
So, the problem is:
Imagine the I have 3 factors:
fact_A, fact_B and fact_C:
The latter I would assume that is random, and the rest of them are fixed.
