Execute command after hangup / MWI
Hi guys,
is there any way to execute a command *after* a caller has hung up the
call? Something like
exten => s,1,Voicemail
exten => s,2,AGI(mwi.agi)
I'd like to turn off the MWI on my cellphone (which is done by gammu[1])
Or does anyone know a way to check the state of the MWI from outside,
i.e. with a cron-job? I'm turning on the MWI with the email-notify from
voicemail, but this only work to turn it on...
Greetings,
Christoph

CentOS vs. Nokia Phones
...ut
problems. So all hardware related parts are working.
Anyway, kernel load the cdc_acm module, and gives me /dev/ttyACM0.
Accessing this tty (cu -l, minicom, take your pick), I can issue
AT commands and get responses. So far so good.
But then I try to access it using some software (gnokii, obex, gammu),
it simply won't work.
Trying to use usbserial instead of cdc_acm gives exactly the same
result.
Does anyone has any better experience with this setup ?
TIA,

OT: MWI on Treo 600/650
My cell vm goes to asterisk, not the carrier. Apparently MWI is turned
on/off with specially formatted SMS messages. Anyone know how to do this
on a Treo 600? Having the phone light from Asterisk would be HUGE ...
not to mention extremely cool.

You could also try temporarily wrapping the SMS portion in a subshell that pipes stdout/stderr to mail (or a file):
( echo "..." | gammu-smsd-inject ... ) 2>&1 | mail -s "errors from SMS" $EMAIL

recommendations for SMS/EMS/MMS software simulation?
...uest, but i'm looking for (if it even
exists) some centos 5.4 software that will let me completely simulate
the sending and reception of MMS messages on a local network which
(AFAICT) would require the simulation of the MMS centre as well
(MMSC).
so far, i've run across (yum-installable) gammu and i'm just
starting to take a look at it. but if anyone out there has already
been down that road, i'm open to recommendations. i'm just getting
immersed in the world of messaging systems and if there's something
that would allow me to simulate all of this on a local network, i...

USB
I have been migrating from WinXP to Ubuntu Linux, and all but one of my
essential applications can be accommodated. The exception in the PC Sync
software for my mobile phone, which I need to download photos to the
computer. The setup disc runs under WINE, but the sync screen does not work,
presumably because USB drivers cannot be set up (the phone memory is not
accessible from Windows Explorer, so
