Hello, I'm trying to run Team Fortress 2 on Linux using Wine 1.0. I tried starting the game from Steam, but it shows the loading TF2 window, then closes and never starts the game. I know the game isn't supposed to run on Linux, but I have a question about gameinfo.txt. I tried starting hl2.exe in: /.wine/drive_c/Program Files/steam/steamapps\*user*\team fortress 2 folder, but it said I didn't have a gaminfo.txt in the hl2 directory. (which is a folder in the above directory) So I made one, but I don't know what to put in it. My current errror is: h...

so first off wow works on wine but wines being gay and when i hit maximize it maximizes but the actual wow window is still the same size and i have problems running tf2 on crossover it tells me "Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesnt exist in subdirectory 'hl2'. Check your -game paramater or VCONFIG setting.and tf2 works fine if i just switch over to ms home edition by restarting.

I have never used Wine before. I got the game installed but it will not start. I receive the following error Error locating tag node in SetGlobalClassInfo function. Current XML file is: GameInfo/CIV4PlayerOptionInfos.xml I couldn't copy and paste the error so I wrote it down. The syntax might not be exact.
