IOwaits over NFS
Hello. We have a number of Xen 3.4.2. boxes which have constant iowaits at around 10% with spikes up to 100% when accessing data over NFS. We have been unable to nail down the issue. Any advice? automated remote cloning
Good morning/day and Happy New Year. We have a geographically distributed environment (marketing speak: cloud) where we regularly need to migrate individual systems to new hardware (for bigger disks or for better geographical placement, for example). We currently use Cobbler to do our base installs automatically and I am now looking at integrating Clonezilla with Cobbler. The goal is take an

Hallo, today I had a surprising situation. Exim stopped. It's a German centos 5.3 64 Bit installation so the messages are partial in German. [3.3 beta3] When should the self-heal daemon be triggered?
Hi, I eventually installed three Debian unstable machines, so I could install the GlusterFS 3.3 beta3. I have a question about the self-heal daemon. I'm trying to get a volume which is replicated, with two bricks. I started up the volume, wrote some data, then killed one machine, and then wrote more data to a few folders from the client machine. Then I restarted the second brick server.

Is there an openssh security problem?
Hello, is there a security issue on CentOS 5.3 with openssh 4.3? I ask that cause of http://www.h-online.com/security/Rumours-of-critical-vulnerability-in-OpenSSH-in-Red-Hat-Enterprise-Linux--/news/113712 and http://secer.org/hacktools/0day-openssh-remote-exploit.html. Should ssh login from internet on CentOS better be disabled? regards Olaf
