Resilvering Loop
...''ve been trapped in this loop before and it''s been resolved by changing the disk configuration somehow. But that is just like shooting in the dark and can be a very time-consuming process. Is there a more proper way to approach this issue? Should I be filing a bug report? -Galen

Slow Resilvering Performance
...the 1-3 MB/sec limit. What is going on? I have had to resilver 4 times so far, and I have to resilver at least once more. Each resilvering takes a day or two, and I cant see why... it''s not CPU, it''s not sustained read throughput, it''s not IOPS, so what is it?? Galen

ANOVA in quantreg - faulty test for 'nesting'?
I am trying to implement an ANOVA on a pair of quantile regression models in R. The anova.rq() function performs a basic check to see whether the models are nested, but I think this check is failing in my case. I think my models are nested despite the anova.rqlist() function saying otherwise. Here is an example where the GLM ANOVA regards the models as nested, but the quantile regression ANOVA

Custom Sort on a Table object
...es rownames! I haven't yet tried writing to an external file and then reading it back (so as to get R to forget that it's a Table object), and then merging on the group bands to pull in a sequence vector upon which to do an order(). Seems like it should be easier. Many thanks, Galen [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
