Recommendation for FXO
...directly to the PSTN line and that sounds fine. So, I would like to purchase another PSTN gateway which WORKS WELL with asterisk. I need it to hook up via ethernet, since my platform of choice (mac OSX) has no PCI card support. I only have one PSTN line, and already have other ATA's for FXSs, so I really only need one FXO port, although I realize there is no such animal. Any positive experiences with FXO gateways that connect via ethernet? Especially with a long loop/echo issues (ie not SPA3000)? Thanks in advance. Marty PS I am ready to spend to buy something quality.

Asterisk for home office
I apoligize in advance for this newbie question on what I perceive as a mostly advanced level list... I did some searching, but would like some of your expert opinions. I'm building an asterisk server to be used in the home, both to learn, and as proof of concept of applying this solution in a home. To keep costs down, I'm considering one X100P ($25 ebay clone) card to connect the

In addtiion I have some x100s, linksys FXSs, etc Strange things are happening with the Sipura and Asterisk which I cannot seem to figure out. During off hours at the callcenter, when no one is placing calls, if I place or receive a call with any of the Sipura, everything seems fine (well almost since it doesn't detect a hangup from the...

OT - Avantages of ISDN PtP and PtmP
Hi, Reading http://www.asteriskguru.com/tutorials/bri.html , it seems PtP is the way to connect businesses but if you read http://public.swbell.net/ISDN/connect.html you would think the opposite. Can anyone elaborate a bit PtP or PtmP respective advantages ? Cheers -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

FAST BUSY on Back to back ZAP outgoing calls
Hello, I have a TDM400P with 2x2 configuration of FXOs and FXSs. I set a test extension of '444' to dial out a specific zap trunk and call a local #. First time I call out to '444' everything works fine. If I hang up the call, and within 10 seconds dial the same number again, I get a fast busy. Seems it isn't letting go of the trunk or s...
