problem with 'integrate'
...bleFunction", the integration fails and returns an error
message - even with stop.on.error = FALSE. Is there any way I can
work around this? Perhaps there is something similar to
"suppressWarnings()" that I might be able to use?

Incorrect degrees of freedom for splines using GAMM4?

Using > summary(global.gamm4$mer), I get the following output for my spline
term, indicating that I use the expected 4 degrees of freedom.

However, when I use > summary(global.gamm4$gam). I get an estimate of
degrees of freedom that is not 4:

Problems building package under Windows (PR#9303)
Dear R people
I want to contribute a new package (various noncentral hypergeometric
distribution functions) using C++, but there are many errors when I try
to build even a simple package.
Here are the most important errors I have encountered so far:
1.
Trying to build the DLL, it can't find some of the include files. I had
to make the following change in Makefile
and copy some .h files:
