...ivalent of "Save to File" from the R console File menu on an R routine? Just trying
to capture the whole R console into a text file when my code fails.

Help with reconnecting a faulty brick
...to be sure Gluster will discard its
data and sync from the other, and not create a split brain situation)
Could I just remove the content of the brick (including the .glusterfs
directory) and reconnect ?
I'd really like some help from GlusterFS experts here :-)

IPFW disconnections and resets
Hi,
I am using IPFW on FreeBSD 4.11
I am facing two problems:
- SSH sessions timeout after a while
- When I run "/sbin/ipfw -q -f flush" in the rules script all connection
get reset (and I am thrown out of the box).
Is this standard functioning of ipfw or do I need to change any
configuration?

update.packages(checkBuilt=TRUE) returns Error: invalid version specification NA in 2.9.0
I installed R-2.9.0 yesterday, and followed the instructions in the R for
Windows FAQ, 2.8 What's the best way to upgrade? It reads "run
update.packages(checkBuilt=TRUE, ask=FALSE) in the new R and then delete
anything left of the old installation." I did this but it returned an
error. It's the checkBuilt=TRUE which causes it, though I don't know why:

file. The good copy will have non-zero trusted.afr* xattrs that blame
the bad one and heal will happen from good to bad.? If both bricks have
attrs blaming the other, then the file is in split-brain.

...recreated while the bad one was offline. So they haven't the same gfid now. How does gluster handle this ?

add machine script not running
...onfig because, once it worked, I
removed the same workstation from the domain, removed the LDAP entry,
made no configuration change, not service restart and tried again,
without success. It might be related to some caching effect of sssd, I
need to dig a bit deepper.

Transferring the printer database
Is there a way to transfer a Samba printer "database" from one version to
another? I tried copying the .tdb files from v2.2.6 to v2.2.8pre1 but it
didn't seem to work. Some sort of upgrade path is needed here - it's a lot
of work to start over if you've got a lot of printers.

Prevent total volume size reduction
...Now, my question is: is there a way to prevent GlusterFS to
automatically reduce the total size of the volume ? In this case, I
would have liked the failing node to be prevented from healing, as it
was only 20GB but the volume was 8TB (out of which ~5.5TB was used)
