...t be a proper question to ask here, however I don't find a better place to ask. I am testing Ubuntu Natty 11.04. I build R with Blas/Lapack linked to intel MKL. Everything works fine but when quitting R with q(), the R process won't quit, and the system monitor shows its waiting channel as futex_wait_queue_me. For example, with "make check", the process will halted after checking the graphics package, whose test script called lm(), which I think used lapack routines in MKL. The next thing I tried is using environmental variables such that MKL runs in sequential mode. Then everything goes perf...

It seems to happen only with Steam games. Sometimes they fail to 'start'. If I go to Gnome System Monitor it says like: 'name of the process / Sleeping / 63.6 MB / futex_wait_queue_me'. It happens with a lot of games, sometimes they start and sometimes they got stuck (the same that was launching before at a later time isn't launching anymore). Any suggestions?

Hi, i have big trouble with a Debian Lenny dom0 and latest kernel 2.6.32.19 with xen-4.0.1rc5. Due some reason the system freezes from time to time. I used kernel 2.6.31.9 with xen-3.4.2 before. The machine doesn''t write anything to serial console so there are no errors or something like that. Perhaps there is something to see from the logs ... Hardware Board: Intel DQ45CB CPU:
