...st only happen, when WIFEXITED(*status) returns true.
Else, WIFSIGNALED(*status) could be true, in which case the process was
terminated by a signal. One has to extract the signal number using
WTERMSIG(*stat)... and so on. There is also WIFSTOPPED() and
WIFCONTINUED().
