...s in a rectangular grid. When you triangulate a rectangle
it is
arbitrary whether you use the SW-NE or the SE-NW diagonal and that looks
like the only difference between the various algorithms.

Long Share Names and Windows NT Workstation 4.0
...the limit is 12
characters for NT, our Windows 98, 2000 and XP machines work with longer
share names.
If so does anyone know if there is a patch to make long share names work
with NTWS 4.0?
Best regards,
Keith

I can't think what to do next, has anyone seen this problem before and know
a fix? I can provide some more verbose debug output if necessary, I didn't
want to output reams of info unless it was absolutely necessary.

Knowing The Limits

We have had Samba 2.2.2 running successfully for some time on an
Ultra 10 with Solaris 2.8.
Over the last few days we have been having trouble with 'loosing' access to
some new shares and found that some new users had problems accessing their
home dirs. To get around the problem with the home dirs we shortened the
length of the path in the passwd file and moved the dir

We get the same message on SuSE 9.3 running samba 3.0 , can you give us any
pointers on solving this?
