RFS: xen-qemu-dm (new package)
Hi, I believe the package is ready: http://ftparchive.gplhost.com/debian/pool/lenny/main/x/xen-qemu-dm-3.4/xen-qemu-dm-3.4_3.4.2-1.dsc I asked Ian Jackson to sponsor it (he works for Citrix and is a DD), but it's been 2 weeks, and he seems busy with work. I'd be glad if someone was sponsoring the upload of this package in Debian SID, soon en...

I tried using http://ftparchive.gplhost.com/debian/pool/lenny/main/x/xen-qemu-dm-3.4/xen-qemu-dm-3.4_3.4.2-1_amd64.deb But my hvm instance wouldn't start. [patch] debian/copyright
The debian/copyright is quite wrong and missing quite some copyright/license issues. I rewrote it using the DEP5 format. But since it's too big (more than 40 KB), I couldn't attach it. So I've put it here: http://ftparchive.gplhost.com/xen/debian_copyright This includes all the copyright things for Qemu as well, but it might be missing some authors. I believe that the MAINTAINERS file, shipped on top of the source folder, should be packaged too, in all binary packages we ship. Please use this copyright file instead...

Woohoo! Windows Server 2008 RC2 on Xen 4.0
...they''d be pretty generic fixes to installing any os from a standard ISO. Config: Xen 4.0 distro pkg from debian sid tree Dom0: linux-image-2.6.35-xen-amd64 from sid tree DomU config: (pasted below) Work-arounds: - had to download and install xen-qemu-dm-4.0_4.0.0-1_amd64.deb from http://ftparchive.gplhost.com/debian/pool/lenny/main/x/xen-qemu-dm-4.0/ because qemu-dm is missing from current xen-hypervisor pkg in sid tree - had to download and install libbluetooth2 from http://packages.debian.org/lenny/amd64/libbluetooth2/download because the above pkg is compiled against it and sid has libbl...

HVM support to be removed from Debian Squeeze: call for volunteers
[message cross posted to the pkg-xen and xen-devel list] Dear everyone, Bastian Blank - which is the person (among others, but mainly him) that is packaging Xen in Debian -, has decided last summer that he doesn't want to deal with the qemu-dm of Xen, thus removing Xen Qemu and support for HVM in Debian. Provisioning fails - Codebase question
I'm trying to configure an SoC system as an AD DC on Ubuntu 18.04. I was successful on Ubuntu 16.04 a couple of years ago, and the script I used to configure the system from first boot to provisioned fails on 18.04 and 16.04. The failure is thus: Setting up self join set_nt_acl_no_snum: fset_nt_acl returned NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED. ERROR(runtime): uncaught exception - (-1073741637,
