System error 66 has occured
I have been setting up a PDC with one XP client. After about three
weeks of smb.conf changes, I understand/like my settings, and it
*was* working great.
(I've read a zillion times both O'Reilly "Using Samba" books (1st
and 2nd editions), and John Blair's (Samba Team) "Samba Integrating
UNIX and Windows" book.)

NT poledit.* & common.adm & winnt.adm & windows.adm
I've googled my brains out trying to find the "latest" NT 4.0 System
Policy Editor files:
POLEDIT.CNT
POLEDIT.EXE
POLEDIT.HLP
COMMON.ADM (NT & W9x)
WINNT.ADM (NT)
WINDOWS.ADM (W9x)
I only have dialup access, and it will take me a zillion days to
download SP6 for NT so I can extract the above files.
Can any one point me to where I can D/L those six (or 0110) files?
Thanks

'logon drive' questions
Hello list, I sent this about two weeks ago, but I didn't get an
answer... so I'm pushing my luck. :-)
QUESTION#1: What EXACLTLY causes the HOMEDRIVE, HOMEPATH, and
HOMESHARE variables? Something passed from Samab to the client, or
some thing the client does?
QUESTION#2: How/what/where/why is there a difference in the results
of click on "Command Prompt"?
My Setup...
