frr packages for CentOS 8
Hello, I'm not seeing free range routing (frr) packages for CentOS 8. The RHEL8 docs say frr is the replacement for quagga. https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/8/html/configuring_and_managing_networking/setting-your-routing-protocols_configuring-and-managing-networking What am i missing? Cheers, Dan

Yeah, as denoted by the "8" in the URL. Thanks for your ever so helpful response! fontconfig and FT_Get_BDF_Property
...me an error: /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/X11R6/lib/libfontconfig.so.1: Undefined symbol "FT_Get_BDF_Property" when it tries to build the cache for non bitmapped fonts. I have: 1. updated my CVS ports tree 2. rebuilt fontconfig, freetype, expat and Xft using portupgrade (portupgrade -frR ) 3. rebuilt my all (portupgrade -afr) and fc-cache still chokes. XFree86-clients, XFree86-fontScalable and several other ports also fail to build with the same error. There is only one copy of libfontconfig.so.1 in ldconfig -r. I'm sure that there is something really obvious, but ... Tha...

adaptIntegrate - how to pass additional parameters to the integrand
Hello, I am trying to use adaptIntegrate function but I need to pass on a few additional parameters to the integrand. However, this function seems not to have the flexibility of passing on such additional parameters. Am I missing something or this is a known limitation. Is there a good alternative to such restrictions, if there at all are? Many thanks for your time. HC -- View this message in

[Bridge] Option to forward *unconditionally* on a bridge?
...anything and everything on all ports (except the ingress port) *regardles* of any permanent FDB entries (such as the MAC addresses of interfaces acting as bridge ports)? For context, I'm using a network-namespace (container) based simulator (think GNS3 or CORE), which allow me to run multiple FRR instances in their own dedicated netns, connected together by veth pairs and bridges. To bridge this simulation outside the machine hosting it, the simulators allow host machine interfaces to be bridged to bridges and veth pairs that belong to the simulation, e.g.: -----------------------------...

[Bridge] [RFC PATCH net-next 0/5] Add layer 2 miss indication and filtering
...r L3. When a host sends a BUM packet over ES1 to VTEP1, the VTEP will flood it to other VTEPs in the network, including those connected to the host over ES1. The receiving VTEPs must drop the packet and not forward it back to the host. This is called "split-horizon filtering" (SPH) [1]. FRR configures SPH filtering using two tc filters. The first, an ingress filter that matches on packets received from VTEP1 and marks them using a fwmark (firewall mark). The second, an egress filter configured on the LAG interface connected to the host that matches on the fwmark and drops the packets....
