FAX Options
Hi,
Is FAXing with Asterisk a practical option ? Or is it better just to
use a plain fax connected to an FXS and just switch with Asterisk. I
specifically wanted to know if there was any experience using just the
fax scanner to send faxes and receive them via asterisk and the to
e-mail. My idea was to take my old fax connect it to an FXS port and
send faxes with the fax machine (using the fax

Mass mail performance
How does Action Mailer perform when sending out say 3,000 emails? I
know the answer will have a lot to do with the hardware, but in general,
is Action Mailer up to the task of completing an operation like this in
reasonable time?

And end up being able to reference the device via SIP/1234.
I've tried adding name, username, auth, authname, defaultname, and
fromname among others and none seem to do what I'm looking for. Tried
reading through chan_sip.c but have not figured it out yet. Figured
I'd ask.
