unistim - no dial tone frequecy, no number display when dialing
I'm trying chan_unistim-1.0.0.5e with asterisk-1.4.22 and Nortel i2002 phone. When I dial the numbers are not showing up on a display, and the is no frequency sound when pressing the numbers. I think it is related to chan_unistim, isn't it. Did anybody encounter this problem and/or solve it? -- #Joseph GPG KeyID: ED0E1FB7

Ring Freq
Hi I'm sorry for the my trivial quest. I Have asterisk 1.4 with TDM 400 with FXO and FXS, and works fine from several months. Now I want to connect a device to TDMFXS that want a ring frequecy of 25 hz to activate: i am italian, and usually the ring freq is 20 hz. The other time (I have used that device several times with other asterisk installation) I have modified /etc//modprobe.conf and added the line options wctdm opermode=TBR21 fxshonormode=1 But now this not works: I have changed...

Creating a frequency table for binomial varaible
...39;s....... 5's) I know that the simple R function table() will do this, but I am afraid that some times I may get zero frequency for some particular values (for example in the above there are 5-0's 10-1's , 14-2's, 10-3's , 11-4's but no any 5's ) So I want to make by frequecy table ( as a date frame) as value freq 0 5 1 10 2 14 3 10 4 11 5 0 How can I create such a table? Forgive me if this is a very basic question. I am new to R. Thank you very much. -- View this message in context: http://r.789695.n4....

image/area plot
Dear R users, I am trying to produce an image plot, that represents the proportions of a factor (z variable), so that the number of squares of each colour represents each factor level, with the respective label inside (sorry for the crap English). # Something like this: kk=data.frame(fact=letters[1:10], freq=c(5,1,10,2,10,7,5,10,30,20)) # factor and respective frequecies res="a" #

Introduction and Doubts
...s easy to understand and has been used in other frameworks like lucene and many other places. okapi bm25(implemented in xapian) is theoretically better/improved measure than tf-idf and i am looking into various other weighting scheme which are there in xapian or can be implemented like TF-ICF(term frequecy inverse corpus frequency),TF-RF(term frequency-relevance frequency) for evaluating the speed and accuracy of final clustering system we can benchmark it against various other algos like k-means,HAC based on the measures mentioned in previous mail.(purity,F-measure,Entropy,F-Measure,Overall Simila...

fft: characteristic function to distribution
The characteristic function is the inverse Fourier transform of the distribution function. The characteristic function of a normaly distributed random variable is exp(-t^2/2). x=seq(-2,2,length=100) fft(pnorm(x),inverse=T)/length(x) exp(-x^2/2) Why aren't the inverse fft and the mentioned function the same? Thanks for help, Thomas

VoicemailMain2, inband digits detection, rcf2833 digits detection (rtp issue, I think)
...e (X-Lite, for those who cares), when I use g.711(a/u) codec, it works perfectly with inband (it detects the whole mailbox (in my case 10007)), but not with rfc2833 (in this case, it only detects 107 as the mailbox number). With gsm codec, the inband doesn't work, I guess that's due to the frequecy responce of the codec, asterisk just say: WARNING[245776]: File dsp.c, Line 1198 (ast_dsp_process): Unable to detect process 2 frames Anyway, I would like to know if is there anybody trying to make Asterisk work correctly with rfc2833 digits transmition. The reason is that I need to use gsm, and...

Need testing: chan_unistim improvements
Hi All, During last three month I have worked on improving functionality of Nortel phones working with asterisk to replace existing Nortel station by asterisk. Many improvments done, listed below. I have only i2002 phone and unable to test if new version of channel correctly works with i2204 phone. If anyone can test it and report issues, it would be great. Please visit mantis to find out patch

Log user log-offs
Does anyone know of a way to log when a user logs off using Samba as a PDC. I have Samba 3.0.2a and can log log-ons using root preexec on a share all users mount, however I do not know of a way to log log-offs. We need this data for record keeping purposes. We don't use roaming profiles, so using root postexec is not an option as shares disconnect when not in use. Thanks for any help,

patents and separate entropy coding
Hi everyone, first of all, I searched through the archives for any posts resembling this, I didn't read all posts about the patents so if this has been suggested before I apologise. I read in an article on C|Net (I think, it was linked from Slashdot anyway) that Thompson are threatening to sue you if Ogg Vorbis becomes a success. Which is evil, and I'm also mad at them because they never

"Time went backwards" messages
I have a high end IBM system with 4 HT CPUs, am running xen-unstable with only Dom0 active, and I get lots of "Timer ISR/n: Time went backwards" messages. This is a short segment from dmesg: Timer ISR/1: Time went backwards: -259000 4465110000000 9741000 4465120000000 Timer ISR/6: Time went backwards: -224000 4465110000000 9776000 4465120000000 Timer ISR/6: Time went backwards: -159000

Introduction and Doubts
I was not sharing it on maling list because i thought that someone can use all ideas i proposed in their GSOC proposal. Surely i will contribute to xapian project. sorry if that was against the rules The algorithm is not developed by me but after having much research on various clustering techniques. I found that there is a new algorithm called CLUBS(Clustering Using Binary Splitting) which gives

Getting RJS / EgdeRails working
Hi, using Rails 1.0 on windows (without svn yet) I just wrote "rake freeze_edge". Are the RJS-templates already included then ? When I write "rake update_javascripts" I receive this error: svn: ''.'' is not a working copy Any tipps for a newbie on how to get the update done (if neccessary) ? thx Jan
