Any Idiots guides out there
Hi there,
I need to set-up something to syncronise (say every hour) a set of ftp and
config files between two servers and rsync seems to be the prog for the job
(for a HA ftp server using Pro-ftp).
But so far, unless i run as root, with root being able to login to both servers,

FreeBSD ipsec and NAT
Hi All,
I currently have setup a site to site vpn using racoon on my freebsd

doesn't seem to authenticate my rsync user which is not a system
user. If I run the command manually, sshd asks for the far end
user's password. If I use that user's password, the files are
rsynced to a

IPsec - got ESP going, but not AH
Hi folks,
I've been working on getting my WiFi network running with IPsec. I'm
at the point where all traffic on the wifi subnet is encrypted (i.e.
ESP). Then I tried to add AH to the equation. I failed.
This picture describes the network setup:

Here's what I'm trying and failing with. With these rules, I get no
