Monitoring filessytem access
When somebody is hammering on the system, I want to be able to detect who''s
doing it, and hopefully even what they''re doing.
I can''t seem to find any way to do that. Any suggestions?
Everything I can find ... iostat, nfsstat, etc ... AFAIK, just show me
performance statistics and so forth. I''m looking for something more

ZFS extended ACL
What is wrong with this?
# chmod -R A+user:webservd:add_file/write_data/execute:allow /var/apache
chmod: invalid mode: `A+user:webservd:add_file/write_data/execute:allow''
Try `chmod --help'' for more information.
This works in a zone, works on S10u5, does not work on OpenSolaris2008.11.

zfs root, jumpstart and flash archives
I understand that currently, at least under Solaris 10u6, it is not
possible to jumpstart a new system with a zfs root using a flash archive
as a source.
Can anyone comment as to whether this restriction will pass in the near
term, or if this is a while out (6+ months) before this will be possible?
Thanks,

plotting a 1000 plots?
I would like to plot lots of plots (2x2 plots) of a set of data for many
sets. I can do it just fine for one set of data, but I would like to
generate a small mountain of plots for others to examine. Basically, I would
like to generate the same par( mcol=c(2,2) ) plot for about 1000 datasets.
I've been iterating through them in the plot window, but I would like to
send all the plots to a eps
