Muchas gracias,
Manuel

Samba Replication
...e approached this problem before?
What replication options work well with the current stable build of samba?
Is there any way to replicate when a file is locked, so the user will get
the warning that the file is locked?
Any feedback would be helpful, even if it is a link.
Thanks in advance,

Royston's V' and v' functions
Dear R-list readers:
Royston described the effect of sample size on the p-value obtained from
the Shapiro-Francia test (Estimating departure from normality. Stat Med
1991;10:1283-93). He developed two indices from the Shapiro-Francia
test (i) V' - an index of departure from normality and (ii) v' - a
plot of the cumulative squared residuals.
He mentioned the availability (in 1991) of a Mini...

normality tests
Hi all,
apologies for seeking advice on a general stats question. I ve run
normality tests using 8 different methods:
- Lilliefors
- Shapiro-Wilk
- Robust Jarque Bera
- Jarque Bera
- Anderson-Darling
- Pearson chi-square
- Cramer-von Mises
- Shapiro-Francia
All show that the null hypothesis that the data come from a normal
distro cannot be rejected. Great. However, I don't think it looks nice
to report the values of 8 different tests on a report. One note is
that my sample size is really tiny (less than 20 independent cases).
Without wanting to s...

HABTM checkboxes insert but don't delete
I have a problem related with the HABTM relationships with checkboxes.
I''ve got a profile and a service model, both related with
has_and_belongs_to_many.
The problem is that i can insert new data in the profiles_services
table, however, i cant delete already existing data.
What could be the problem?

Kolmogorov-Smirnof test for lognormal distribution with estimated parameters
Hello all,
Would somebody be kind enough to show me how to do a KS test in R for a
lognormal distribution with ESTIMATED parameters. The R function
ks.test()says "the parameters specified must be prespecified and not
estimated from the data" Is there a way to correct this when one uses
estimated data?
Regards,
Kwabena.

Normal tests disagree?
If I have data that I feed into shapio.test and jarque.bera.test yet they seem to disagree. What do I use for a decision?
For my data set I have p.value of 0.05496421 returned from the shapiro.test and 0.882027 returned from the jarque.bera.test. I have included the data set below.
Thank you.
