I think I have found the problem, now whats the solution?
...o --sequence gives me : BUILTIN 1 EBUYER 1 Now, as far as I can tell winbind is trying to use the BUILTIN group and not the actual domain for it's groups and users. Am I barking up the wrong tree, or if I am correct how do I force winbindd to look at the right groups and users? WINS across two networks and a router
Hello, everybody.  This one''s got me stumped.  What I''m trying to do is have two networks--192.168.1.0 and 192.168.2.0--with SMB and WINS running between them.  So far I can mount SMB shares allright, but I can''t browse by WINS names across the router.  I''ve posted this question on Linuxquestions.org; you''ll find the details there.  Here are my

Joint confidence intervals for GLS models?
Dear All, I would like to be able to estimate confidence intervals for a linear combination of coefficients for a GLS model. I am familiar with John Foxton's helpful paper on Time Series Regression and Generalised Least Squares (GLS) and have learnt a bit about the gls function. I have downloaded the gmodels package so I can use the estimable function. The estimable function is very useful because it allows me to calculate confidence intervals...

Sanity, Manners and Shorewall Support
Hello Everyone, This morning I received a personal email from a recent poster asking "Why is Mr. Eastep so mean?". The post went on to explain that I had responded abruptly to the person''s request for help and asked why I wasn''t more helpful to people attempting to understand something new. Good question. Over the last nine months, I have been struggling to deal with
