...o my Samba server end up with lower case on the Unix box. Case is not preserved from NT to Unix. For example, if I copy C:\Temp\MyFile to a directory on the Samba server, it ends up there as myfile. What am I missing? I browsed the FAQ's in the web pages, without success... The user name I use to connect is a valid account on the samba box, and the password checks out OK. Any hints? ...p Network Drive dialog, and this doesn't work from Win95 stations, which is why I would like the name to appear in the browse list. Is there another way for Win95 machines to get to my Samba machine, if it doesn't show up in the browse list? Any help greatly appreciated.
