I am aware of tifflib, imagemagick, but but not sure about a decent GUI wrappers for them. The file numbers are huge. I have tried many things for almost a fortnight or so to even remember all those names. None of them "cuts it" per se. I'm using 22khz wavs because 16khz doesn't provide the quality i need in the original wavs. I can't get 32khz wavs because that part of the project is finished and not redoable. The .spx's don't have to be as high quality, so i guess i could convert them to 16khz. I was trying 17kbps, ultra-wideband, and VBR.

Works fine after I went back to the chan_sip from the asterisk-0.5.0 tarball. Getting closer to figuring out the problem. I'll look at the diffs between the two versions tonight and see if I can't tell where the problem is. Is there a way to checkout a two week old version of the cvs? Jon
