Dear useRs and developeRs, I hope all attending useR! in Dortmund last week had as much a good time as I had and a safe trip home. This email is to announce our plans for forthcoming conferences. In 2009 there will be a useR! in Rennes, France (July 8-10), directly followed by a DSC in Copenhagen, Denmark (July 13-14). We would like to have a useR! 2010 in North America, and 2011 in Europe. Locations for 2010 and 2011 have not been fixed yet, but there are already some plans....

...re is no 4, that's it! Currently LLD will not build, so if you have cloned LLD into your repo you will need to not build it. llvm, clang, and lldb should build though, so you can run "ninja lldb clang" for example and produce a working build. r172749 removed Linker/LinkArchives.cpp and Linker/LinkItems.cpp citing: This code is dead, and the "right" way to get this support is to use the platform-specific linker-integrated LTO mechanisms, or the forthcoming LLVM linker. Could someone please expand on what the "right way" is and these LTO mechanisms or where I can find further information? Hi Daniel, In r172749 you removed the Linker::LinkInFiles() function and mentioned in the commit message that users of this function should migrate to "platform-specific linker-integrated LTO mechanisms, or the forthcoming LLVM linker." I'm trying to update this code: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/tree/src/gallium/state_trackers/clover/llvm/invocation.cpp to work with TOT and I was wondering if you could elaborate a little more on these alternatives and maybe provide an example? I was just told that for my forthcoming system I will be getting a data T-1 instead of a voice T-1. Given that all of the handsets will be voip phones, no analog at all, do I need echo cancellation? I looked at the voip-info wiki and it seems to me that the answer should be "no" but I would like to confirm that. TIA, W

I'm running a RHEL6 as a development desktop with Fedora 14 (multimedia stuff) and Win XP (corporate email and calendars) running on it as KVM VMs. Everything runs great except for audio pass through. Audio works on the RHEL host. Both VMs see sound cards provided by the VM, but no sound is forthcoming. I have tried adding a PCI audio device from the physical host to the Fedora VM, but then it refuses to boot. I remember reading that physical hardware can only be passed through to VMs if it is not in use on the physical host. Any suggestions on how to get audio pass through happening? How can I...

It appears that you cannot use migrations (out of the box) with mysql 4.0.16, because when creating a table, the statement says "ENGINE=InnoDb", instead of "TYPE=InnoDB". Looking at the source code for the adapter, this appears to be hard coded. Is there any supported way to make this work with older versions of MySQL? David
