smbclient returns error when NetBIOS disabled on Windows Server
Hello,
I have noticed that smbclient returns an error code when a windows
server has disabled NetBIOS, but should it do this, if you know NetBIOS
has been disabled. I think there should be a flag to indicate that you
don't want to check port 139 (NetBIOS).
For example the following command which tries to connect to a Windows
server with NetBIOS disabled returns an ERROR!
$ smbclient -L

granstream, vlan, tftp
hi all,
I known taht this ML is about *, but lot of you are using BT telepnones.
I'm using FW 1.0.6.7 for all phone. This firmware support VLAN tagging for
QoS on the Layer2. I use it to separe the PHONE network form the PC network,
which are in PC connector in the BT.
And I also use the TFTP server for provisioning (software, configuration).
The problem is, if you set the VLAN for QOS.

A newhidups question
Gentlemen,
I think this question is mainly for Arnaud again:
When I run my UPS directly with newhidups -D -D -D, with no data changes,
and I then observe the interaction with my UPS (still Back-UPS ES 650
FW:818.w1.D USB FW:w1), I see the updateinfo cycle through 3 different forms:
(1) a (2 bytes) => 06 08 notification that provides one item:
UPS.PowerSummary.APCStatusFlag

samba@lists.samba.org
I am planning up upgrading my AD/DC from Samba version 4.8.2 to the most recent
version in my Slackware distro which is currently 4.15.13.
In previous threads in this maillist I was advised that the best route to
achieve this was to add a 2nd domain controller, then promote that one and
demote the original. I'm in the process of setting up a 2nd DC to that end.
I thought I ask questions as I
