force group does not work
Hi I set up a samba 4.1.4 server on the latest FreeBSD RELEASE 10. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to consider the option force group. After hours ofresearch I couldn't figure out what I'm still missing. unix extensions is set to no. Setting the debug level up to 10 also didn't help ;( Is this a bug or is there simply a mistake in my setup? When *valid users = @Groupname* is

particular problem
...had no previous experience with webmin of samba so im kinda new to this. My problem is that everytime i access my samba share (on my debian system) on windows and want to either play an mp3 or watch a film or get some college work, Windows Xp pro freezes the hell out of my computer. I am then foreced to reboot my whole system everytime. I no that in previous windows versions samba and them have been alright and i no its just windows xp which has this problem but is there any way to make my system stop freezing. Basically this is my last resort, if this dont work, i will swap straight back to...

A quesetion regarding ices2.
...ive to later allow users to download it, I have an odd problem. XMMS can listen to the file just fine. Which is odd because my problems are usually in just the opposite direction. When someone downloads the ogg generated by ices2 and tries to play it on winamp 2.91 (Could be all win amps, I have foreced everyone to upgrade that lisetens... ;), it says the name of the file, but WILL not play it. The only way I can get the file to be playable to everyone and their cat is to use ogg123 -d wav and then use oggenc to re-enocde the file. And then file is great and everyone can listen to the file. But...

Greetings, All! I've added a new DC to the working AD, transferred FSMO roles (checked, all 7 are ok') and (supposedly) correctly demoted the old DC.
