[PATCH] Compiz with Fglrx without Xgl (an hack for use-copy)
...o without loading Xgl.
However the use-copy option makes compiz do some checks that the fglrx
drivers don't pass (I don't know why, since the required extensions are
available according to glxinfo), so Vladimir suggested me a workaround
to this, and I've applied in a similar way in the foollowing patch:
compiz-force-fglrx-with-copy.patch - http://tinyurl.com/35gwjf
After applying this patch (that needs compiz-use-copy-rendering.patch
and maybe an ABIVERSION change) fglrx users could try Compiz in their
ATi cards using the "--force-fglrx" parameter.

Vibration signal prediction in R
I have a vibration signal coming accelerometer. I converted this signal from*
m/s^2* to *mm/s*. Now I am supposed to predict this vibration signal in R
using historical data. (Please see the attached picture of vibration
signal).
Can I use this vibration signal just like that to the prediction using
predictive Models or Do i need to do some processing technique before doing
prediction? Are there

My question is - Is there a way in Xen, through which I can communicate
a value from outside to a Guest OS (linux, solaris and windows)?
One of the posts said we can pass the foollowing parameters to kernel by
making entry in the xen config file -
vif = [ ''ip=192.168.1.61'' ]
netmask = "255.255.255.0"
gateway = "192.168.1.1"
hostname = "ds-1"
In the first place, I could not find any Xen config file in /etc/xen. Where can I find it?...
