nfs and permissions
My CentOS box is my server for data and some services, including nfs shares.
On my laptop I have folderviews displaying two directories on the server, via
nfs mounts. An fstab line mounts each, such as:
192.168.0.40:/home /mnt/borg2_home nfs nosuid,exec,rw,bg,soft,intr 0 0
From the folderview I have no problem accessing the files and directories.
Now comes the problem. I use kontact, with imap mail...

CentOS 6: add icon to desktop
On my old CentOS 5 KDE, if I add a link to ~/Desktop, it
appears on the desktop as an icon. But on my new CentOS 6
KDE, this does not work. How can I make it work?

CentOS6 KDE: Desktop Activity type: desktop only
Hello there,
I'm looking at different desktop activity types (in Desktop Settings),
and on my CentOS 6, I only have "desktop". No folderview, for instance.
Does anybody know how to install/enable other types?

Questions about inferred state machines for OpenSSH
