SIP, NAT & Asterisk
Hi all, -------- beacause I am a newbie in the asterisk ralm and the existing documentation could not satisfy I'd like to ask you some Questions: 1. Does somewhere in the Internet exist additional documentations for asterisk configuration ? 2. Does Asterisk work as a standard SIP Proxy ? 3. I am just installing a Asterisk PBX in our institute and additionally I purchased some ot the Snom

forward_msg: no 2nd via found in reply
Hi everybody, I'm trying to use Asterisk as SUA with SER. But Asterisk doesn't succeed to register the Asterisk user to SER... the standard error output of SER tell me: "ERROR: forward_msg: no 2nd via found in reply" the SIP message looks like: to 193.175.133.19:5060 Retransmitting #5 (no NAT): REGISTER sip:potemkin.fokus.fraunhofer.de SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP

SIP / IAX over satellite
Hi all, ------ I tried to use * over satellite, but all my effort did not succeed. The Asterisk is behind the VSAT and is resposibel for alle the SIP clients in a field location. The clients are notebooks and PDA's running SJPhoen for Windows and PocketPC. Unfortunately I could not find any Linux Client wich worked satisfying. SJ LAbs promised a Linux Version at the end of August but they

Preferred backup s/w
Hi all, What is the current preferred method for backing up ZFS data pools, preferably using free ($0.00) software, and assuming that access to individual files (a la ufsbackup/ufsrestore) is required? Native ZFS on Linux
Once upon a time, Joerg Schilling <Joerg.Schilling at fokus.fraunhofer.de> said: > Note that it is without doubt that ZFS was not derived from the Linux kernel > and thus cannot be a derived work. All that matters for CentOS is: 1: Red Hat doesn't ship ZFS because of Red Hat's lawyers' interpretation of GPL+CDDL 2: Arguing about it here will not change #1 3: CentOS

[helpdesk@wolflair.com: Re: Army Builder 3 and linux]
...Gnu Linux distro). The program runs without problems, but wine does not render the ui correctly. All standard buttons in the program fail to be drawn, and are not able to be clicked by the mouse. The fokus-marking around the buttons is however drawn, and tooltips work. Using enter to activate the fokused button also works. Turning on WINEDEBUG does not immediately yield anything. I have placed a screenshot at http://dossen.dk/~dossen/images/screenshot-ArmyBuilder The dialog box is supposed to have several buttons on the right, of which the topmost one is fokused. I'm including my corresponda...

TDM10M && Siemens Euroset 2015
Hi all, -------- I have installed a TDM400 with one active FXS port (TDM10B) an connected it to a Siemens Euroset 2015 analogue phone. I have installed some smom IP phones to the network as well and configured them as usual (sip.conf). For configuring the TDM10B I have used FXO signalling in /etc/zaptel.conf and in /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf. I definded the TDM channel and the Snom phones to the

ZFS and memcntl(..., MC_SYNC, ...)
It wouldn''t be proper to start my first post here without congratulations and thanks to the ZFS team for such an impressive piece of work. Anyway, on to my query. I''ve been trying out ZFS, with a particular focus in reducing latency in a specific application. This application has a fair amount of random writing going on in the background (which, of course, ZFS will make
