password change problem and no logon servers available
...ly we are experiencing the following problems:
1. changing the passwords takes longer than 30 seconds <- That's bad
because we are using a gigabit ethernet network!
2. sometimes windows tells us that the user can't change their passwords at
the current point of time
3. sometimes windows foces the users to change their passwords (we never
told samba to do it!)
4. sometimes windows tells us that there are no logon server available!
Are there any known bugs regarding to these problems? Do you need further
information to investigate this problem?

very different behavior with Samba 3.0.20b

know why, looks like a Ghostscript error, but thats not the point). Therefor
I inserted a force user = root in my conf. Then I have a strange

Help with lme and correlated residuals
Dear R - Users
I have some problems fitting a linear mixed effects model using the lme function (nlme library). A sample data is as shown at the bottom of this mail. I fit my linear mixed model
using the following R code:
bmr <-lme (outcome~ -1 + as.factor(endpoint)+ as.factor(endpoint):trt, data=datt,
random=~-1 + as.factor(endpoint) + as.factor(endpoint):trt|as.factor(Trial),

Bug in mkfs.btrfs?!
Hi,
I wanted to create a new btrfs fs for my backups.

"error checking /dev/loop2 mount status"

lstat("/dev/disk/by-id/ata-INTEL_SSDSA2M160G2GC_CVPO939201JX160AGN-par",
0x7fffa30b3cf0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
The problem is there is something missing
