[LLVMdev] potential mach_override/mach_override.c fix
...x00}, + {0x48, 0x8D, 0x05, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00} }, // lea $imm(%rip),%rax { 0x3, {0xFF, 0xFF, 0xFF}, {0x0F, 0xBE, 0xCE} }, // movsbl, %dh, %ecx { 0x3, {0xFF, 0xFF, 0x00}, {0xFF, 0x77, 0x00} }, // pushq $imm(%rdi) { 0x2, {0xFF, 0xFF}, {0xDB, 0xE3} }, // fninit which produced a usable libsanitizer on x86_64 and i386 darwin. Perhaps these instances of lea aren't a problem on llvm, but I thought I ought to point this fix out as a potential change for the llvm 3.2 release. Jack

[patch 0/4] Clean up asm/bugs.h, identify_cpu() and update COMPAT_VDSO
Hi Andi, Four patches: - clean up asm/bugs.h, by moving all the C code into its own C file - split identify_cpu() into boot and secondary variants, so that boot-time setup functions can be marked __init - repost of the COMPAT_VDSO patches with a bit more robustness from unknown DT_tags, and functions marked __init, since all this is boot-time only setup. Thanks, J --
