Turning on autocreate of maildirs - how?
...I create the Maildir manually with maildirmake fetching mail starts working fine, so all of the messages about the directory being ambiguous seem to be a red herring.
Anyone know how to turn this on?

crossed random effects
Hi,
I have a data set on germination and plant growth with
the following variables:
dataset=fm
mass (response)
sub (fixed effect)
moist (fixed effect)
pop (fixed effect)
mum (random effect nested within population)
iheight (covariate)
plot (random effect- whole plot factor for split-plot
design).
I want to see if moist or sub interacts with mum for
any of the pops, but I am getting an error...

how to ignore rows missing arguments of a function when creating a function?

STATA). Note that I don't want my function to drop rows if there are missing
arguments elsewhere in a row, ie for variables that are not arguments of my
function.

getting the p-value from lm as a list object
Hi,
I'm trying to get the p-value from the 'lm' regression function as a list
object. For example, I can get r^2 from the following code by entering
summary(fm)$r.squared. Is there a way to get the p-value? If not, is there
a function where I can enter the f-value and degrees of freedom to get the
p-value? Thanks.

Model frame when LHS is cbind (PR#14189)
The model frame shows the response and predictors in a data frame with
nicely labelled columns:
