nss_winbind / offline logon
Hello list users, I have been struggling to make my AD integrated Debian Lenny box to work fluently also when network connectivity is down. What I would like to achieve: 1) When no network available, local user should still work normally 2) If possible, AD located users should still be able to login if they have previously logged in successfully (cached login) Number 2 is more like optional, bu...

Installation of R in a Linux/Intel platform
I use R fluently with Windows98/NT. I have tried to install R (R-base_0.64_2-2.i386.rpm) in a Linux/Intel platform (RedHat 6.0), but the system signals the following message of error (gnomerpm): file not rpm.I have tried, without success, to install R-base_0.64_2-2.src.rpm. Samba memory usage - how big is it?
...ut usually it runs very well (except that we've already moved solidworks engineer to work with our samba server now). With the 'top' command I can see the total usage of memory come near to 1Gb. Is it normal that we have to add more RAM or maybe I can do something to tune it to run more fluently. Thank you very much. Regards,

Kenneth's Second Commit
I've fixed a heck of a lot of stuff in the time frame of just over ten minutes. And you all care... right. I actually ran Vorbize, and discovered some stupid bugs (e.g., segfault???). Fixed. Both Vorbize and Ogg123 should now speak fluently in Monty's comment-eese. I'll be working on getting both to implement all the comment tags; I'm seriously considering dropping all comment support in Vorbize in favor of an external comment utility (anybody got any, unfinished? I'll finish it...). Well, how many hits did www.vorbis...

However before testing of other methods, it would be desirable that somebody have looked at it. Whether someone could check up my patch (just fluently having read), at least for obvious bugs and typos? PJSIP, NAT and STUN/ICE
...nt, I do not understand how things would work avoiding setting external_media_address= and external_signaling_address=. The Asterisk 13 I'm running is supposed to be bound to IP 192.168.254.1, which is routed to the gateway. My problem is, I don not understand why the communication is working fluently with both external_xxx_xxx atrributes commeneted out which I suppose to be crucial - following the Asterisk 13 documentation! Maybe someone can sched some light onto this. I think, my view on the matter is completely confused. Thanks in advance, oh Another point -------------- next part -------...

Returning the mock associated with an expectation.
I was reading through the FlexMock docs and noticed the expectation method .mock, which returns the original mock associated with an expectation. It looks really handy for writing nice all-in-one mocks like: mock_user = mock(''User'').expects(:first_name).returns(''Jonah'').mock So I started playing around with mocha and found I could actually already do this!

Yes: You need to send all the data in one PUT request. This is how it works. You send them concatenate with correct timing applied (which is another feature of libshout). ruby bindings
Hello. I've improved the Xapian Ruby bindings by adding aliasing a few methods and making the code and examples more in line with Ruby conventions. I also wrote a simple script to generate a skeleton so that rdoc can automatically document some of the SWIG code to a limited extent. I used a template I find somewhat nicer than the default, but if you don't like it, it can easily be changed.

[Bug 583] Chokes
...nd the rest after a pause of 100-150ms. It's realy annoying. I have 100mbit/s full-duplex cards. Load average is about 0.02. Everything was fine, till i've changed the version. 'm running 2.4.20+grsec1.9.9.+cc0.23pre5 with libc-2.2.4 and openssl-0.9.7b. Data on tty's is displayed fluently. I tried to change sshd's priority to higher, it helps a bit, but it's not a solve. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee.

logon home with ldap under win98
...tion in a different way. For win98 machines, in lanman.c, the information is taken only from smb.conf, and not from ldap (or other backends). I have attached a small patch that yields the right home directories found in the sam, just as for win2k. The patch is a bit crude (I don't speak C fluently), and I hope no memory is leaking. It works for me, feel free to use it in any way you like. Take it as a proof of concept, it might break other things (NIS auto.home?). Source client with HTTP PUT
Hello again, thanks for your response. I have still some questions: I want to stream a 24/7 radiochannel with mp3s. So I can't send all mp3s with one http PUT request. So is there a possibility for that with http PUT? If yes, how can I send the next mp3, so that icecast is playing it fluently (continuesly)? If not, is there a documentation for a TCP Socket Communication? Libshout is a c++ library. Is there a wrapper for .Net or a .dll, so I can use it in my C# Client? With best regards, Jürgen -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Icecast <icecast-bounces at xiph.org&gt...
